What actually changes when you switch.
Nothing to sync, nothing to leak
Cloud scanners keep a copy of your passport on someone else’s server. Doc8 has no server. Your documents exist on your phone and in backups you control.
No paywall in the middle of a task
Many scanners are free until you try to export, remove a watermark, or run OCR. In Doc8 every feature is free, forever.
A vault, not a pile of PDFs
Scanners stop at the PDF. Doc8 knows a passport from a payslip, pulls out numbers and dates, reminds you before things expire, and assembles Packs for applications.

Export from your old app
Open CamScanner, Genius Scan, iScanner, Adobe Scan or any other scanner. Select your documents and export or share them as PDF.

In the share sheet choose Doc8. Or save the PDFs to the Files app.

Import from Files
In Doc8 tap Import, then Files, and select all the PDFs at once. Doc8 reads and files them on your phone.
